What is True Colors?

True Colors is a metaphor for understanding human characteristics. It helps us see and use different ways of rewarding and supporting people's natural behaviors and values. Behind it are these fundamental beliefs and guiding principles:

	People are intrinsically different.
	They strive to achieve a sense of self-worth from very different perspectives.
	Identification with these differences can be accomplished through the use the metaphor of "color."
	Entertainment is the most broadly appealing and universal context for communicating these messages.

The theory behind True Colors is not new. In the fifth century B.C., Hippocrates described four dispositions or temperaments which make up each of us. From astrologers to psychologists this premise has been refined until we come to True Colors.

Through the True Colors process you'll discover the four basic personality types which make up all of us. You'll find out which personality types encompass your strengths and in which, your weaknesses. You'll learn to communicate more effectively with those around you.

	Discover your own personality style - your True Colors.
	Learn to recognize your own unique blend of strengths, qualities and preferences.
	Become aware of individual differences.
	Appreciate the contribution of diversity.
	Identify the characteristics of each style.
